Windy began her Natural Foods career in 2003 at Concept Sales and Associates as an Administrative Assistant. Over the next 8 years she helped create brand promotions and new item presentations in the southern California office, and grew to an Account/Business Manager position, where she handled 17 brands with a core focus on Frozen and Gluten Free products. During her tenure in Southern California, she worked with Ralph’s, Albertson’s, Gelson’s, Stater Bros, Bristol Farms, and other retail chains and independent accounts, as well as DPI distributors.

In Northern California Windy called on Raley’s, SaveMart, and Safeway Corporation. She worked closely with Market Centre and C & S over the years expanding her work with reps in Portland and Seatlle while also building container programs for Alaska and Guam.

In 2011 she founded Phoenix Sales & Marketing, with a core focus of working with manufacturers that were new to the grocery industry to open the California grocery market. The 3 years following she linked California and the Pacific Northwest, creating strategic item placement and promotional programs to help build quality brands and brand recognition.

In June of 2016 Phoenix Sales joined forces with Sunshine Specialties to focus their efforts on all Natural and Grocery chains throughout Northern California. Windy is Business Manager and Account Manager to SaveMart, Safeway, C & S, Holiday Market, Scolari’s and Mar-Val as well as independent retailers. She works closely with manufacturers to develop quality go-to-market strategies and promotional programs, as well as new item presentations.

A community-minded individual, Windy was the president of the Auburn chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, focusing on introducing women and youth to the wilderness, and creating safe habitats to protect wild turkey populations. In 2016, after the tragic loss of her 15 year old nephew to a DUI driver, she and her sister started the Trevor D. Keller Scholarship Corporation, to involve young people from disadvantaged families in local football programs. She continues to help educate youths on the dangers of DUI driving and works to establish Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs into schools.
